Red Tent

This spring, take part in a wonderful fundraiser called Red Tent in support of The Marguerite Centre, a healing place for women recovering from addictions and abuse. With over 20,000 women in Nova Scotia suffering addictions, the Marguerite Centre is the only facility of its kind for women in the province. The centre provides a safe place for women to overcome their addictions and follows a holistic approach to healing and recovery, which is proving to be very successful. Inspired by Anita Diamant’s bestselling book Red Tent, about a place where women gathered to help each other heal, learn and grow, this version of Red Tent is an afternoon of spa treatments and personal growth.

On Sunday, April 22, from 1:00-4:30pm, women can visit one of ten Red Tents (spas) for personal services designed to feed the mind, body, and spirit. Red Tent spa hosts include: Aquina Day Spa, Bellezza Spa & Studio, Cascades Day Spa, Chrysalis Spa and Skin Care Centre, Embrace Day Spa, Interlude Spa, Mudwraps to Manicures, Oak Island Spa, Remedy Facial Bar & Spa and Spirit Urban Spa.
