TURBINE fashion show

Turbine Fashion Show

On November 10, 2006, more than 340 lucky people attended the Turbine 6th Annual Showcase of fall fashions in the historic Nova Scotia Textiles building in Windsor. The evening, hosted by CTV's Liz Rigney, featured music by jazz singer Pat Watson, accompanied by John Bird. A live fashion show followed the reception, showcasing more than 3000 new pieces from Turbine's Fall Collection including fashion, jewelry and accessories.

Turbine owner and principal designer Lisa Drader-Murphy designs classic, unique clothing made of unused vintage fabrics, including vintage-inspired Limited Edition Collection, revealed at the highly anticipated Showcase. All proceeds went to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada (almost $8,700!).

We've featured some of the stunning pieces from Nova Scotia's premiere designer here and you can see more at www.turbine.ca (under What's New). Turbine Fashion Design Studio and Café is located in Falmouth, off exit 7 on Hwy 101, just past Windsor.
